Clean Jeans, White Tee and Boots
Late 2026
My favourite outfit — indigo jeans, a quality ironed white tee, and my boots and belt, all on a sunny spring day.
The arrival: washing day — soapy aldehydes, ozonic sunshine, cut grass under the Hills Hoist, fruity detergent on the breeze.
The heart: the clothes themselves. Indigo denim, dry and faintly blue-starched, soft white cotton against it, the cold metal of rivets and button-fly breathing over the warmth.
The settle: worn in. Clean musk on skin, a sniff of saffron-leather where the belt and boots live, sun-warmth held in the fabric — the classiest ordinary outfit a man ever put on.
